I am a single mother with two children of 5 and 6, looking for a male/female aupair
I currently work four days a week (Mon to Thurs)and need an au-pair to drop the kids off at school (7:30-9am);collect after school at 3:30pm ; co-ordinate playdates & activities and make tea until 7pm latest. Two nights babysitting in the week. Also basic nursery duties (i.e washing and ironing kids clothes and keeping their rooms tidy). I will retain a weekly cleaner for the housework.
Please note I am trying the re-phase my hours at the minute which , if successful will mean 5 morning drop offs and 2 pick-ups (Mon and Tuesday) , but flexibility/stand by will be needed for last minute work commitments. Very occasional overnight work.
Must have good english. This is very important for my son. Checkable UK references required, experience of working in the UK, and a genuine fondness for children. Must want to stay for a year(or close given the time of year). Native English speaker or Male preferred but not essential.
Pay is £90 to £100 per week. Own large room on top floor with ensuite, tv and use of internet. Highgate Tube is a 7 minute walk and there is a great English school that runs au-pair classes, just 5 minute walk away.
I am quite amenable to overseas vistors/friends and relatives who want to stay (within reason!)
(I am, by the way also quite receptive to flexible options - i.e live -out au-pair or nanny share if the work can be covered).
