Located in N London (Bushey Heath) professional parents (I'm a family doctor and he works in London) looking for an au pair to get our 3 boys (11, 9, and 5) up and dressed, breakfast and then walk to school for 8.50 am. Time off in the day, and then pick up the boys at 3.15pm , snack, and possibly homework or clubs until tea-time. You will have sole charge for much of that time. Our eldest son is at boarding school so most of the time you have just 2 boys to look after. Each day is different, start early (7am) but finish by teatime. It’s about 35 hours a week. You will need to be flexible - we are both in jobs that change daily but we never take advantage of you. School holidays require you to work different hours but stil not arduous.

Help around the home (a couple of hours a day) cleaning and general help to keep the house going. Weekends are free but babysitting up to twice a week of which one night may be the weekend. The boys are well behaved and funny and loving. You have your own large room, laptop, internet, TV, mobile (pay-as-you-go)stereo and use of a car. The house is in a leafy quiet suburb, with good access to tube etc for central London, or out into Hertfordshire. Local college does good English language course. There are lots of other au pairs in the area so there is always lots to do!

We are a genuine, Christian, welcoming and generous family for the au pair who sees themselves as part of a team who are trying to make the lives of our 3 boys as great as possible. For the right individual this will be a great job, no day the same with 3 good kids waiting to love you right back. They are our precious jewels and the successful candidate will be special and cherished by us all. We are busy but not pressured and really pretty easy going... actually we think we are very funny... (Not everyone agrees)So you need a sense of humour and to be cheerful... but we have a very grumpy cat too!=^..^=

Still, we are interested in the world, and different cultures and ways of life. We want our boys to learn to be interested too. We are respectful of others and would enjoy teaching you about our country. We will invest time and emotion to make you feel happy in our life, and hope that you will do the same. We like you to come along with us as much or as little as you want at the weekend. We have had 4 au pairs before (Slovak, Czech and Hungarian)and they will be happy to give you more information, references about us and their opinion too!

For this we expect to pay from £90- £100, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to this we have a local gym and pool where we will help you pay to be a member.

We are looking for a family member. For example we would not want you to feel you must watch TV in your room and prepare your own food but jump in with the (fairly chaotic!) life we lead. Also we need someone who will commit to staying for at least 1 yr, hopefully more. There is potential to earn a further £20 per week by walking one of the boys friends to and from school(with our boys, so no extra work!) 3-4 days a week.
