Live-in Au Pair Plus for friendly family in N10, to start mid-late August

Location: north London

We are a friendly and relaxed family living in Muswell Hill (North London), looking for a live in au pair to look after our 3 fabulous and fun children (Boys aged 6,4 and 2) to start mid/late August.

The hours will be 35 per week plus 2 nights of babysitting per week if needed. You will have 4 weeks of paid holiday per 12 months. We are offering £110 per week depending on experience.

Our current au pair plans to move on end of August - having completed over a year very happily.

General duties will include:

•Helping dress, feed and bath the children
•Sometimes doing the school/nursery run
•Playing/Having fun with children in local parks/museums/libraries
•Some light housework/household help (changing bed sheets, tidying up children’s bedroom, putting washing on and some ironing) we do have a cleaner twice a week
•Help in the kitchen with cooking (cooking simple
evening meals for the children, cleaning the kitchen surfaces, emptying the
dishwasher, etc)

You will have your own large bedroom with TV and wi fi access and shared bathroom with the children.

We are in an ideal location (5 minutes bus/15 mins walk to Highgate tube station on Northern Line and takes 30 minutes to reach Central London/West End) and surrounded by beautiful shops, cafes and parks with a friendly community of mothers, nannies and au pairs to hang out with.

We’d like you to:
•Be energetic/fun loving and enjoy the outdoors in all weathers
•Be caring, reliable, honest, hard-working, cheerful and easy going,
have good common sense and a great sense of humour
•Have previous au pair/childcare experience
•Speak good English
•Have checkable references
•Be committed to us for ideally 12 months
•Be a non-smoker
•Have basic cooking skills
(a driving licence would be a bonus but not essential)
