Au pair needed in Clapham Balham September 09

Location: Wandsworth

The hours will be 25 per week plus 2 nights of babysitting per week (one weeknight and one weekend if needed.) You will have 4 weeks of paid holiday per 12 months. I am offering up to £100 per week depending on experience.

Our current nanny plans to move on in late August early September - having completed over 2 years very happily.

General duties will include:

•Helping dress, feed and bath the child
•3 (occasionally 4) days of school/nursery run
•Playing/Having fun with children in local parks/museums/libraries
•Some light housework/household help (changing child’s bed sheets, tidying up child’s bedroom, putting washing on and some ironing)
simple evening meals for the child, cleaning the kitchen surfaces, emptying the
dishwasher, etc)

You will have your own large bedroom with TV and and shared bathroom with the children.

We are in an ideal location (7 minutes walk Clapham South tube station on Northern Line and takes 20 minutes to reach Central London)

We are surrounded by beautiful shops, cafes and parks with a friendly community of mothers, nannies and au pairs to hang out with.

We’d like you to:
•Be energetic/fun loving and enjoy the outdoors in all weathers
•Be caring, reliable, honest, hard-working, cheerful and easy going,
have good common sense and a great sense of humour
•Have previous au pair/childcare experience
•Speak good English
•Have checkable references
•Be committed to us for ideally 12 months or longer
•Be a non-smoker
•Have basic cooking skills
(a driving licence would be a preferable but not essential)
