Au Pair Wanted For A Young And Friendly Family

We are a friendy and fun family with 4 children aged 6,5,4 and 3 years old. Our children are very well behaved, happy and very easy going. The older three children are at school full time but my youngest daughter attends nursery 5 mornings a week from October 2009.

I am a Maternity Nurse and I often work about 5 nights a week. I am also in the process of setting up a business and may sometimes need the occassional help in the daytime. The main role for the au pair would be to be home by 9pm at night so that I can go to work and be there just in case the children woke up which is very rare unless they were ill. The children are put to bed at 7:30pm so you would not have to help with this. In the morning I arrive home at about 8am so this would mean that the au pair would have to wake the children up at 7am and give them breakfast and get them dressed until I arrive home at 8am. This means that potentially you could study during the daytime or even take on another daytime job.

The only other requirement would be light housework including childrens ironing which can be done anytime including evenings or weekends.

The au pair would have free time in the daytime to study or socialise as aside of occassional babysitting, the hours of 8am to 9pm would be freetime.

The au pair we are looking for must be able to communicate well in English, I will consider all nationalities just as long as you are able to speak a reasonable ammount of English. Driver preferred but not necessary, non smoker, must be able to commit for at least 6 months, experience in childcare essential, references essential.

The au pair will have her own room with an en suite bathroom, Sky TV with all the channels including the movie channels. 4 weeks paid holiday to be taken at an agreed time. The pay is £80 - £100 depending on experience.
