Temporary Live-In Au Pair Required To Help Look After Two Lovely Children

Location: Streatham Dulwich

Au pair required to look after a 3 year old girl and 5 year old boy for up to 40 hours a week. This is a temporary position starting June 29th 2009 and finishing on 1st August 2009. The fixed time period is because our current au pair is going travelling.

3. Full UK driving licence (ESSENTIAL)
4. Proactive and flexible attitude to life
5. A real love of children and enjoy looking after them
6. Care about children’s development and feel confident in setting boundaries and discipline
7. References from previous childcare jobs
8. Non-Smoker
9. Swimmer

THE FAMILY
Richard Milner – works in book publishing 5 days a week – usually home by 6.30
Gillian Milner works for the Olympic games 5 days a week – usually home quite late
Jack Milner – 5 years old and goes to school in Dulwich. Will go to Summer camps during the Summer holidays
Lola Milner – 3 years old and goes to nursery in nearby Dulwich.

THE HOUSE
The house is run as a shoot location. This means that on average, once a week a film crew or magazine crew comes and takes pictures or films in our house. Check the house out at www.deerhurstroad.co.uk. This does mean that you either need to be out of the house (with the children) or quietly keeping out of the way in the house from 9-6pm.

THE JOB
1. Childcare
• Help with breakfast and getting them ready in the morning
• Lola drop off/pick up from nursery every day
• Jack drop off/pick up from summer camps
• Organising tea or activities after school – playdates, afterschool clubs etc
• 2-3 nights babysitting per week (max)

2. Shoot location help
• You will need to ensure the house is kept tidy before and after a shoot.
• Show people around the house (recce’s)
• Let the crew into the house in the morning

3. Housekeeping
• washing/ironing
• keeping the house clean and tidy
• changing bed sheets

YOU GET
• Large bedroom with TV/DVD (the loft room on the website)
• Your own bathroom (the yellow one on the website)
• Use of indoor heated swimming pool
• £200 per week
