Au Pair Plus In North London with friendly family (3 young kids)

Location: North London

We are a loud, friendly and loving family looking for an au pair + to join us to help keep our home happy and clean.

We need someone who enjoys working hard and being with children and is not put off by some cleaning every day.

I chose the picture here as our last au-pair had lots of fun with the kids sliding down the stairs (until she got a bad carpet burn and had to stop!). Please do not read on if you do not like to laugh with kids and you think kids should be quiet and too well behaved.

As we are reformed smokers we are seeking a non smoker (as we dont want to start again)

If you need to improve you English ,we will welcome you to engage with us.

We offer you a comfortable room, all food, (tv, wireless, etc), £80 per week and we ask you to work 25 hours plus 2 nights babysitting.

We enjoy our food and have a nice garden and an allotment if you would like to help grow fruit and vegetables. We dont eat red meat , but ejoy chicken, fish, seafood and a varied diet.

As we have had 2 happy au-pairs we have a good routine now.

It is generally:

Rise and make all beds at 7.30 a.m. then help with the breakfast.

8am - 10 am cleaning and household duties

You are then free until 5.30pm

5.30pm you will then help with the childrens dinner - followed by bathtime and kids bed time - then the bathroom and childrens toys will need to be tidied and put away. This will finish around 8 p.m

As Yasmin goes to school some distance from home the shared school run does not always run as planned. The mornings that I do the school run I would like you to do the cleaning from 4.30 in between helping me with the children.This will be on a Tuesday and Friday.

Very occasionally I may need help with Ziggy at 2.30pm untill 4.30pm when I have to do school run and would need you to help me at 7 -8pm for bathtime and bed.

The weekends are FREE.

The only time we may need you for weekend evening babysitting is when my mum is unavailable which is hardly ever as she is a massive part of our lives and always around.
