Great opportunity to au pair for English family in Italy

Location: Italy

We are looking for an au pair to come and live with our family in Treviso, near Venice. We live in a fantastic house set in acres of garden just 2 miles from the centre of the beautiful medieval walled city of Treviso. Venice is just a 30-minute train journey away. Treviso is full of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops and there are plenty of opportunities for language courses. Although not essential, some knowledge of Italian would be a great help to you.

We have two young children aged 4 years and 1 year and are expecting our third child in July. We need an extra pair of hands around the house.

We are looking for someone flexible and willing to get involved but typically your duties will involve:
• Light housework such as hanging out washing, tidying up after mealtimes, hoovering, making beds, light food preparation, tidying play areas
• Entertaining the children at various times during the day, typically, in the mornings for a couple of hours and then after school for a couple of hours, but this is flexible as required
• Help at bath and bed times
• One or two evenings of babysitting each week
• One morning of babysitting each weekend for a couple of hours

In return you will have your own private apartment to live in with its own kitchen and bathroom, which is completely separate from our house but is in the grounds. All bills are paid for. We also offer some meals, a weekly allowance of approx. 60 euros, possible use of a car and the use of a bike. And of course the opportunity to experience life here in Bella Italia.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, capable and energetic girl aged between 22-28, ideally British. You must be able to swim and should hold a valid driving licence. You should have experience of working with, or being around young children and should be a non-smoker.
