Friendly family seeks kind au pair

Location: Herne Hill, SE24

We are looking for a young woman (under 35) to help us as our au pair. We need someone who can drive an automatic estate car, who likes dogs and children (we have a 3 month old puppy) and who is happy to help with cleaning.

Our son is 8 and our daughter is 7 - they are easy to get along with, good fun and respond well to people who take an interest in them. We need help with the school run sometimes and also homework.

Hours are generally 25 per week plus two nights a week babysitting, one will be at the weekend. Pay is £100 a week including board and lodging. If we need any extra help on top of this we will pay you more.

We have a nice sunny double room at the top of the house with own bathroom and TV with wifi. We are 10 mins from Brixton tube (20 mins to Oxford Circus) and also Herne Hill overland station and on lots of useful bus routes ( 3 and 37). Lovely Brockwell park is over the road with outdoor pool and tennis courts. We are also near plenty of good language schools.

Our current au pair Sharn needs to leave next wekend 28/29 March so the job is available from then. She would be happy to talk to you about the job.
