Lovely family in Mexico City looking for a friendly & adaptable Nanny must be experienced

Lovely Mexican family living in Mexico City with 2 children aged 7 & 2 years and a newborn baby expected at the end of January 2010 are looking for an adaptable & enthusiastic Nanny to join their family.

The older child is at school every day until 2:30pm and has a lot of after-school activities to which his parents take him and the younger one started nursery in August (every day until 1:30pm). Working hours will be Monday to Friday for app. 10 hours a day; some flexibility would also be required.

This is a sole charge position with both parents working and a fully staffed household so the nanny will have to be a team-player and get on well with other staff.

Duties will be teaching English & activities with the children, no cooking or laundry duties will be required as there is staff to help with this. The nanny will however be required to supervise everything and make sure the children are well taken care of, their rooms tidy, organise their wardrobes etc.

Driver is not required as the family employ one who will also be available for the nanny on duty.
Accommodation will be own fully furnished bedroom & bathroom within the spacious family house (house with pool & garden in a secured private area).
Travel will also be involved (mainly in Mexico, US, occasionally Europe).

The family are looking for someone proactive, enthusiastic, genuinely interested in childcare and prepared to live in a different country/culture and happy to become part of the family on a long-term basis. It is important that the nanny is security conscious and realises the difference between nannying in the UK/Europe & Mexico and this would be acceptable to her.

The family really would need someone with an impeccable standard of both spoken & written English who can teach English to the children; some knowledge of Spanish would be a bonus but this is not essential as all family members are very keen to improve their English.

Start date is ASAP (flexible for the right person) and salary is to be negotiated for the right person too (app. £500 per week net) + medical cover & flights.
